Spread of Scree Stones

These settings adjust the distance of scree stones to other stones and to other map elements, as well as the random displacement of stones.

Minimum Distance

Distance between Stones: Select the minimum distance between neighboring scree stones. The value is relative to the size selected by the Shadow slider in the Size panel. The label to the right of the slider indicates the distance in millimeters.

Distance to Obstacles: Select the minimum distance between stones and obstacles. Obstacles are defined by black areas in the obstacles mask image. The value is relative to the size selected by the Shadow slider in the Size panel. The label to the right of the slider indicates the distance in millimeters.

Distance between Stones on Gully Lines: Select the minimum distance between stones placed along a gully line. The value is relative to the size selected by the Shadow slider in the Size panel. The label to the right of the slider indicates the distance in millimeters.

White Space around Gully Lines: Select the minimum distance between stones on gully lines and other points. The value is relative to the size selected by the Shadow slider in the Size panel. The label to the right of the slider indicates the distance in millimeters.

Position Jitter

Scree stones are randomly displaced to avoid a regular alignment of stones in a grid. Select the maximum displacement with this slider. The value is relative to the size selected by the Shadow slider in the Size panel. The label to the right of the slider indicates the maximum displacement in millimeters.
